The driving force behind a great patient experience
Sandy Mullen has been at the helm of Maple Leaf's day-to-day operations for many years, bringing calm leadership, careful planning and a genuine commitment to patient care to everything she does. Her role touches every aspect of the practice, from patient communications and scheduling to team wellbeing and operational standards.
Her deep familiarity with the practice and its patients means she can anticipate needs before they arise and ensure the team always has the support it needs to deliver exceptional care.
Setting the standard for patient care
Sandy understands that the patient experience begins long before they sit in the chair. From the warmth of the greeting at reception to the clarity of post-appointment communications, she takes care to make sure every touchpoint feels personal, professional and welcoming.
Her dedication to patients and her pride in the practice are unmistakeable, and they filter through to every member of the team she leads.
Leading a team that takes pride in what it does
Sandy manages the operational complexity of a busy dental practice with quiet efficiency. She keeps the team well-organised, supports continuous improvement across all areas of the business and ensures the practice always meets the high standards expected by its patients and regulators alike.
Her collaborative leadership style means the team feels supported, valued and empowered to do their best work every day.
"Maple Leaf is more than a dental practice — it's a team that genuinely cares. My job is to make sure every patient and every colleague feels that from the moment they walk in."
